We have come up with a new concept on water level controllers..
Most of the water level controllers available in market are having probes (any metal wire or so on). Probes are used as when water touches them ,the controller reads ADC and level is confirmed....
These probes touching water and carrying say 5V dc can be dangerous if proper SMPS with proper AC DC Isolation is not there in system ...
So We came up with the IDEA of developing a system that will NOT touch water --- WIRELESS.
We used ultrasonic distance sensor for the purpose
The system will always show in %age the amount of water present in overhead tank..
Customer will be able to start the motor when the water reaches at his desired level in tank.
From 15-80 % in steps of 5 the customer can start the motor...Configure MbY (Motor begin Yes)
If customer does not want the motor to start automatically .... Configure Mbn (Motor begin No)
At all times in software .. The motor stops at 92% ..
If customer wants motor to stop automatically at 92% ............Configure MSY (Motor Stop Yes)
If customer wants motor to keep running even after 92%.........Configure MSn (Motor Stop No)
If customer wants to use Timer to stop Motor..........................Configure t-Y (Timer Yes)
If customer does not want to use Timer to stop Motor..............Configure t-n (Timer NO)
There is an inbuilt Timer for stopping the motor . Timer can be set by the customer from 4 minutes to 120 minutes. Also there is facility for customer to set Timer ON or OFF..
If Timer is ON, Then on every start of motor ,the timer will also start and will stop the motor when it expires.
In the event Timer and MSY(Motor Stop Yes) both are set to Yes .Motor stops on whatever occurs early.
Scene 1. Suppose there is a water leakage or water is being used constantly and motor is unable to fill the tank to 92%. It may damage the motor..If timer is Yes............Configure t-Y (Timer Yes)
The motor will stop on expiry of Timer (even if 92% is NOT reached-Avoid damage to motor) .
Scene 2. Suppose Timer set by customer is 30 Minutes. But there was unused water in tank. And the motor fills the tank to 92% level in 20 minutes.Say 92% level is reached earlier than Timer expiry. The motor will stop due to MSY(Motor stop Yes). here this function avoids spilling of water. Avoid wastage of water(Prime object of this project)
Or if 92% level of water reaches earlier and Timer is still pending..Then also motor will stop . thereby avoiding damage to motor

R & D on Affordable touch fan regulator
I saw quite a few touch based Fan regulators on ebay ..
COSTLY ...... One thing is sure these were in two module fitting and few of them were humming free regulators. Prices were from Rs. 2100/- to 2500/- for one fan regulator. Of course were with remote.
We are already having housing for two module that can be fitted in ANCHOR ROMA plates,I thought of making for our firm.. Prime target is PRICE.... Below 1000/-
So went through design and this is our first trial..
With small modification in design and final appearance.. It is NOT hum free still 1. It is touch based also remote operable....
Will list on eBay soon

4 lights 1 fan touch interface Switch board operates on ANY IR remote
We have come up with a product for 4 lights 1 fan all touch buttons (7 button in all) which also operates on remote.. Remote is provided with product.
This board can be made to learn codes from other remotes also . If you are having any IR based remote already present at home, that remote can be used to switch off/on lights and Fan...
We learned all protocols to be able to embed them in software , So that all remotes (having different protocols) can be used .
